W2SB #18: It's a Man's World

Hello W2SB Fans!  Annie here and it's June - time for another word-inspired challenge at Words 2 Scrap By!  June is a busy month with weddings, graduations, and Father's Day.  The theme this month is "It's a Man's World" and those words always bring the following lyrics to mind for me:

 

This is a man's world
This is a man's world
But it would be nothing, nothing
Without a woman or a girl

We're looking for masculine cards this month for any man in your life for any occasion.  The I-Team has put together some great inspiration to get your mojo going.

First up is our Guest I-Teamer for June, Linda L.  Linda was the April Challenge winner and really came through again with a great interpretation of this month's theme.  Wouldn't you love this cute guy to work on your car?  Also, I think that is my favorite embossed background for a guy/car card!  Thanks for joining us this month, Linda!

Sybrina's tool embossing is absolutely gorgeous and that ribbon is delish!   The inside sentiment is "Righty Tighty, Lefty Loosey."  Exactly as my Dad taught me!

Next up is Greta and her card is definitely a class act, as usual!  The CAS design and unique card shape really make this card a classic for any guy.

Bobbi went CAS for her card, but that doesn't mean this card doesn't have a little pizzazz!  Her cards always have an element or two of texture, and that silvery embossed layer adds just the right touch.

I always admire the little details that Penny adds to her creations!  Check out the corners, banner and the embossed car.  Just stunning!

Bernadette used a classically masculine palette, several different embossing folders, and some paper piecing to create a clever tool-inspired dad card. And, those two tiny brads.... Well, they're the perfect finishing touch!

And last up is my Father's Day card for my Dad.  Clean and simple, just the way he likes it!
