World Card Making Day 2014

Hi, everyone!

Welcome to the Words 2 Scrap By stop on Operation Write Home's World Card Making Day blog hop. Since several of us I-Teamers are Operation Write Homers, we couldn't resist the chance to participate in this opportunity to make love cards for our troops. Thanks to Bobbi for this wonderful suggestion.  :)

  1. My goodness what fun cards! The penguin card is adorable, I love the the detail. The arrows are so fun! That'd be great for someone to send to their teen and how can you go wrong with snuggling owls? Happy WCMD

  3. Such great group of cards! My favorite is the penguin, love the red and black, the digi is very striking and the snowflake is the perfect touch to say "burr"! TFS!

  4. I love all three of these cards! I have that digi set with the penguin; you've made a striking card with the red/white/black. The arrow card is perfect for a man or woman since it's not a girly color scheme. And those owls...such an effective way to use that punch. I feel a CASE coming on! Thanks for sharing your talent.

  6. I love the variety of the cards. The penguin is just darling and very striking with the red /black combo. I love the placement of the word "so" on the arrow card. Such a perfect gender neutral card. And the fun hearts die cut background is so sweet for those little owls.

  12. Three great cards! Each one is wonderful! The penguin is just cute, because he is cute! I like that the arrow card could be used for anyone, any time of year and I love the background of the owl card. Nice job to all of you!

BTW, I am somewhat new to OWH (only sent in one big batch a couple of years ago). I was going to start sending cards again and see that less cards are needed now, so I have made a few and am adding to them slowly. I am following most of what goes on, and this is probably the 10th blog I have commented on, and I did not know there was a prize. I was doing it because I wanted to leave love for everyone who has put love into their cards. However, any art by Sandy would be a welcome gift! I am taking the Copic class she is teaching on Online Card Classes right now - I already knew she was talented, but wow!
