Hi, everyone! Sybrina here, welcoming you to our December challenge. For those of you still working on some last minute Christmas cards/gifts, we might just have the perfect challenge for you.
This month's words of inspiration come from
A Visit from St. Nicholas, the beloved Clement Clarke Moore poem. You know the one -- the one with stockings hung by the chimney and visions of sugarplums dancing in children's heads. Chances are you even have a copy of this somewhere in your home. :)
Our challenge is to make a card or project, using
any line(s) from this holiday classic as the inspiration for your work of heart.
Let's see how the W2SB I-Team has interpreted this challenge.
We are thrilled to have Becca as our Guest I-Teamer this month. Her take on stirring creatures is adorable... and I just love those pretty holly leaves! Thanks so much, Becca, for joining us for our December W2SB challenge. We are so glad you did. :)
These sweet stockings are some of the cutest little stockings I've ever seen! And, I just love the multiple ways Annie used her ribbon.
Penny's card is absolutely gorgeous! Her trees, snow banks, effervescent moon, and snow spatters create a scene of peace and serenity that is simply stunning.
What's that saying about great minds? Looks like Bobbi and Annie had the same clever idea to hang those stockings. And don't you just love Bobbi's take on the traditional red and green palette?!
Greta's card conjures up a perfect location to take a long winter's nap! The font on Greta's sentiment strip is just perfect for this pretty card.
I used pops of colors against a monochromatic background to feature two kitties eyeing their stockings... while visions of catnip dance in their heads.
In addition to a Guest I-Teamer invitation and our W2SB Winner's Badge, the winning crafter will receive a $10 gift certificate to My Favorite Things. What a great way to start a new year!
